With years of experience, personal and friends’, and going through various stages like challenging – teen years, hormonal – pregnancy and bewildering – post – delivery, I have realized two things:

I mean, today we have creams and moisturizers with more Vitamins, Minerals and exotic ingredients than the food the kids of this country kids get. There has to be something wrong with that, no?
And recently a few of my friends have been asking me if I do something special with my skin – like insanely expensive facials or some super secret ingredient imported from Himalayas. The answer is simple, but it might surprise you a bit. Be ready!

1. Sweat it Out.
Really, there’s nothing that makes your skin really healthy that a good work out session that makes you sweat. It can be dancing, walking, playing a sport or anything that makes you sweat. Also try out a sauna or steam treatment at home for the same effect. Sweating does wonders for your skin by opening up pores and it also helps flush out toxins, making your skin look radiant.
2. Drink Like a Fish.
I mean water, not alcohol, obviously. It is no secret that drinking water helps the body in many ways, a healthy skin is juts one of the benefits. Aamir Khan says he drinks up to 5 liters of water every day and ust look at his skin – it’s as supple as a baby’s bottom. So drink a lot of water – and you can also try the current fad of detoxifying – cucumber and mint or orange and lime etcetera infused water but plain regular water does the trick too because the main thing here is hydration. 3. Utilize house hold items
Instead of falling for fancy ingredients advertised by huge cosmetic brands, go for the basics.
