The Best Selfie Style

I have said it a lot of times on this blog, that I am what you call a Selfie Addict. I mean, I was taking selfies years before the term selfie was coined. I was clicking my own pictures even before I owned a cell phone, with a traditional camera-with-a-role. Yeah, let it sink down for a moment.

And I am not ashamed about it. Not at all. Taking selfies in public doesn’t make me feel embarrassed. I decided long ago that I take the best pictures of me, and also, there are times when a selfie is almost inevitable, or your only options.
You might be walking up a hill, on a narrow cobbled street with your sister when the two of you find an amazing spot for a picture but there’s no one to click it for you. What do you do? Yes, sir, you click a selfie.

You might be in the car, patiently waiting for your husband to return, when your fussy toddler suddenly declares she is game for a smiling picture RIGHT NOW. What do you do? Damn right you click a selfie with your princess.

You might be on an adventurous boat ride with totally messed up hair, when your husband who is safely holding the toddler in his arms, say you look amazing with the wind in your hair, making it imperative for you to see yourself. What do you do? Well, you risk taking out your precious phone in the wobbly boat and click a selfie.

You are heading out for a Coffee Morning, dressed in a saree and you mom calls to say she wishes she could see you in the saree she gifted you 2 years back. There’s no one in the house. What do you do? Of course, you take a selfie and send it to mom.

So you see? A lot of situations pretty much demand a selfie. And for best results, the only two things you need are:
  1. The confidence to click selfies in public without getting embarrassed (let’s face it, it is kind of a super power)
  2. A great phone.

Well, while I can’t help you with number one, here’s a major tip for number two – Take the Best Selfies with Asus Zenfone 2.
Seriously! Ever since I researched about it, I have been excited about this phone. I feel that it can redefine my entire smart phone experience. Not only is it the world’s first smart phone with a 4GB RAM, but it also has an impressive Ergonomic Arc Design with Intuitive Rear Controls. Snapping selfies, adjusting the volume and retracing your steps now feels completely natural because of the comfortable design. Another feature that makes me sure about it’s Fast Charging technology. Asus ZenFone 2 gets 60% Charged in 39 Mins. Imagine the productivity!

But the most amazing feature of the ZenFone2 according to me is it’s 13MP PixelMaster camera with its f/2.0-aperture lens captures stunning, high-resolution photos with zero shutter-lag. Honestly, the zero shutter lag is an amazing thing! Also, the industry-leading Low Light mode employs pixel-merging technology to capture up to 400% brighter photos at night or in low-light scenes, without the need for a flash. Imagine taking great pictures in low light as well! Backlight (Super HDR) mode lets you see clearly through daytime shadow and Super Resolution mode helps you to capture detailed images at resolutions of up to 52MP and it is just perfect for all kinds of pictures, including selfies.

The front camera is 5 MP with a wide angle and frankly, I am waiting for the phone to be launched so that I can quickly go check it out in a store. What will you do? If you like taking pictures, selfies included, I suggest you check out the Asus ZenFone 2 pretty soon and experience this marvel of craftsmanship and engineering, in the palm of your hand.
